November Business Update

Hello everyone!  The end of the year is a busy time for all of us.  With so many different things going on we would like to update you on some important events.

Benefit Open Enrollment

Starts Monday November 9, 2020 and ends Friday November 20, 2020.

Great News…………..We are fortunate to announce there will be no increase to employee contributions!  Medical, dental, vision, life contributions, etc. remain the same for 2021.

The benefit options also remain the same i.e., HSA, high & low medical plans, vision, 2 dental options, supplemental life, etc.  Carriers also remain the same, i.e., Anthem, Lincoln, EyeMed.

Ease Link for Benefit Renewal

With the challenges we face with COVID-19 we have developed an online link for you to complete your 2021 benefit elections online.  “Ease” is a link that will be shared starting November 9th that will allow you to complete the open enrollment process.  The Ease link will provide details on all benefit options so you can make informed decisions on what benefits suit you and your family best.  Instructions on accessing the Ease link will be distributed by the end of this week.

Again, the open enrollment will be from November 9th until November 20th.  Even if you do not have benefits with us or if you want to keep your benefits the same, you will still need to go through the open enrollment process.

Updated Information

Also, as the end of the year approaches and W-2 forms will be mailed by our payroll provider, please be sure we have your updated addresses if it has changed.

The Annual Holiday party will be December 24, 2020.  Given the challenging circumstances with COVID-19, unfortunately we will not be able to conduct our usual potluck style lunch.  We still will have some sort of event, just not our traditional event.  Safety right now is our focus and priority.

Safety During the Holiday Season

With that said, it’s a good time to remember……………….we can’t let our guard down when it comes to COVID-19 and practicing CDC guidelines and safety measures.

  • Have your mask on when you enter the building.
  • Please remember to take your temperature as you enter the building.
  • Keep your mask on, especially if you are within 6 feet of someone.
  • Be sure to practice frequent handwashing.

The Holidays are right around the corner and families typically get together.  Practice appropriate social distancing, mask wearing, hand washing.  Is it enough?  Please take a minute to read the attached article on the risks of gathering this holiday season.

Stay safe, reach out to family & friends via Zoom, Facetime and other virtual options!

As always, please reach out with any questions.

Best regards
